Gathering at the Fire
We started our morning by settling in around the fire and flipping pancakes together. It felt cozy and calm, a nice way to ease into the day.

Exploring the Flats
We headed down to the flats where patches of snow were still hanging on, but most had melted away. The sunshine was beautiful and the kids made the most of it, running, climbing, and exploring every corner.

Bobcat Surprise
Back at the house for lunch, I suddenly became the proud owner of a whole family of bobcats. The kids decided I needed a den for them, so I got straight to work building one while they fully committed to their roles.

Capturing the Moments
The boys borrowed my phone and took a whole series of pictures, including a very cute selfie. They were pretty proud of their photography skills.

Fire Building and Cedar Tea
We went back outside and I let two of the boys take charge of building the fire. They worked carefully and got it going on their own. Once the flames were steady, the tea shop opened again, serving fresh cedar tea. At this point they should absolutely be able to identify a cedar tree

Dance Break and Free Play
The afternoon free play turned silly in the best way. There were music requests, lots of laughing, and one boy taught the rest of us the Macarena. I surprised them by knowing all the moves!

Thanks for a great day, Sprouts!
