Snowy Surprise

What a change from last week! The yard was covered in snow, and the kids were thrilled. We spent the morning sledding and rolling giant snowballs, laughing as we slipped and slid our way around.

Fireside Warmth

After all that play, we gathered around the fire for a snack and roasted hot dogs. The kids were curious about how snow melts, so they filled the pot and kettle to experiment, watching closely as it turned to water.

Birds and Snowmen

Once we’d warmed up, we fed the birds and then built a snowman in the backyard. There was even more sledding to be done, so they made the most of the little hills around Heron Tree Estates.

Cozy Dome Time

We had lunch in the dome, did some puzzles, and listened to stories while the snow continued to fall outside.

Playground Fun

To finish the day, we headed to the park for more sledding, fort building, and some slippery adventures on the slide.
