Wildflowers: October 22, 2025
Creativity was the theme of the day! We started off in the dome where one girl wrote a letter to Finny, while others explored the supply bins to build all sorts of inventions—parachutes, umbrellas, and even factories. One girl took the lead in teaching her friends how to safely use the glue gun.
When we moved outside, the creativity continued. They took turns swinging on the hammock swing, then opened a “face paint” shop, experimenting with how to organize their play with a “boss” and “workers.”
After lunch, their imaginations took off again as they worked together to build a home for one girl’s stuffed sloth. They made him a house, a toilet, pillows, and even bedding!
We gathered together for stories—There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly and Skink on the Brink—and had fun practicing our rhyming skills before it was time for pickup.
Thanks for a great day Wildflowers!
